We wish Nancy Cross a great retirement. Nancy has served over four(closer to five) decades in a variety of Fire Department positions. Latest as the Treasurer of the Fire Department. She will be greatly missed but will be available to guide our newly elected Treasurer Chelsa Pulse.

Congratulations!

Fire Fighter Anthony Czajkowski was voted by the department as 'Fireman of the Year' during the department's annual Christmas Party. He was presented with a service recognition plaque.  Anthony is an integral part of SVFD and is a role model of dedication to the department.

A 2016 fire truck was purchased. It is a 2000 gallon Tender. The old tender suffered unrepairable engine damage and was retired. Thanks to the generous support of our community,  enough funds were available for a down payment and to start making monthly payments, but we still need ongoing donations to finish paying off this valuable equipment.
